It’s that time of year. I’m thinking we got enough scarecrows to do a scarecrow a day. #brysoncity #scarecrow #brysoncityoutdoors #brysoncityscarecrows (at Charleston Station)

Yesterday evening I had a wonderful 7 mile hike up to Lonesome Pine Overlook starting at the Noland Divide Trail from Deep Creek in the Great Smoky Mountains just minutes away from Bryson City.

This evening was my first time hiking up to Lonesome Pine. Left at 5:30pm got back at 8:15pm. It took about 1.25hrs to get up to the overlook. It’s beautiful!!! #brysoncity #smokies #smokymountains #deepcreek #brysoncityoutdoors (at Lonesome Pine Vista)

First hike since the AT. Left at 2:30 finished at 7. Juney Whank Falls trail -> Deep Creek trail -> Martins Gap trail -> Indian Creek trail. Even got to see a bear. 14+ miles is what the map says but that seems a little far. #deepcreek #smokies #brysoncity #brysoncityoutdoors #osprey (at Deep Creek)
